ABOUT
Run by hardware engineers, for hardware buyers.
Most sourcing agents are logistics coordinators who happen to be in China. We're engineers who happen to do sourcing. That's a different product.

Our Story
I'm Martin, founder of Sky Flux — the company behind China Sourcing Agents. Before this, I spent 7 years as a hardware and full-stack engineer — building port management systems, IoT sensor networks, and embedded devices for clients across Asia.
During that time, I watched procurement team after procurement team get burned by sourcing agents who couldn't read a schematic, didn't know what a BOM was, and couldn't tell a factory from a trader. The result: wrong components, failed certifications, production runs that had to be scrapped.
I started China Sourcing Agents to fix that. Not with a team of salespeople, but with a founder who actually knows the difference between a LoRa module and a LoRa gateway, and why that matters when you're placing a $40,000 order.
How We Work
Founder & engineering credentials
I'm Martin Wang, founder of Sky Flux and the sourcing engineer behind every project on this site. Before starting China Sourcing Agents, I spent 7+ years as a hardware and full-stack engineer — building port-management systems, LoRa sensor networks, and embedded devices for clients across Asia.
That background matters because electronics sourcing is not a messaging problem. A factory can say "yes" to a spec they don't actually understand. I review schematics, evaluate BOMs, check PCB stack-ups for manufacturability, and assess FCC/CE/UKCA/PSE compliance risk before you commit tooling budget.
Why us
Stated separately from the factory quote. No hidden margin. Factory audits run $300–800.
We cap our roster so your project gets a real engineer, not a ticket queue.
Three-stage QC (pre-production, in-line, pre-shipment) catches drift before it becomes scrap.
Reply within 24 hours, including weekends. Weekly status reports with factory photos.
How we work
Every engagement follows the same 10-step process — from RFQ and technical scoping through factory search, on-site audit, sample approval, three-stage QC, and door-to-door logistics. You are actively involved in steps 1–3; after that, we handle the factory work and ask for about 1–2 hours of your time per week to review reports and approve decisions.

Engineering rigor over sales talk
We'll tell you if your design has a DFM problem before we find you a factory. That's more useful than just taking your order.
Long-term over single deals
The goal is a factory relationship that works for your 10th order, not just your first. We optimize for that from day one.
Transparent over comfortable
If an inspection finds problems, we send you the photos and the honest assessment — not a softened version designed to avoid conflict.
Trust signals
Documented results
We publish case studies with real numbers — what went wrong, what we fixed, and the actual outcome. The five documented projects below cover consumer electronics, wearables, IoT modules, and industrial hardware for startups, Amazon sellers, EU integrators, and Japanese distributors.
