Who we are
China Sourcing Agent is a sourcing agency specializing in electronics and IoT hardware, operated by Sky Flux, registered in Sichuan, China. Our website is at china-sourcing-agents.com. You can reach us at [email protected].
What data we collect and why
Inquiry form data
When you submit an RFQ (Request for Quote) through our contact form, we collect:
- Your name, email address, company name, and country
- Optional: phone number, WhatsApp, website, job title
- Project details: product category, service interest, message, estimated quantity, budget range, timeline
Why: To respond to your inquiry and provide a sourcing proposal. We do not use this data for unrelated marketing.
Retention: Inquiry data is stored in our email inbox (Google Workspace) and used for follow-up communication. We do not store it in a separate database. We keep email records for as long as the business relationship is active and up to 3 years thereafter.
Analytics data
We use four analytics tools:
Cloudflare Web Analytics — Privacy-preserving, no cookies, no cross-site tracking. Collects page views, referrer, and country-level location. No personal data is stored. Compliant with GDPR without a consent banner.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Collects anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type) using cookies. If you are in the EU, we request your consent before loading GA4 via our cookie banner. You can opt out at any time by declining cookies or using Google's opt-out tool.
Microsoft Clarity — Records anonymized session data (heatmaps, scroll depth, click patterns) to help us understand how visitors navigate the site. Loaded only after you grant cookie consent. You can opt out by declining cookies. Microsoft's privacy policy: privacy.microsoft.com.
Ahrefs Web Analytics — Privacy-preserving, cookieless, no cross-site tracking. Collects aggregated page views and referrers so we can measure SEO performance. No personal data is stored and no consent is required. Ahrefs' privacy policy: ahrefs.com/privacy.
Automatically collected data
Our website is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request metadata for security and performance purposes. Cloudflare's privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy.
We do not set any non-essential cookies beyond those required for analytics (GA4 and Microsoft Clarity), which load only after you consent. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which we also use, is cookieless by design.

- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (for GA4 cookies)

Data transfers
Our business is operated from China. When you contact us by email or WhatsApp, your message is handled by the relevant communication provider (Google Workspace for email; WhatsApp/Meta for WhatsApp), which may operate servers in the US or EU. These transfers are covered by the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
